If you're looking for a place to come, where you're going to belong, and you're going to excel, and you're going to be supported, and you're going to be ready for the workforce after, Nevada State is a place for you. You're going to be welcomed by all our student services, you'll have a great orientation. We have a lot of events on our beautiful Plaza.
Our Nevada State family is very much real. It's very much active, involved. You can be downstairs, sitting in the cafe, eating lunch with someone who's in your class, and then have the President of the college sit down and ask what you're doing. You can get the Provost, who's like, "hey, come talk to me whenever you want". If you have anything that you want to discuss, or our Dean of students, who will just walk by the hallways and high five students and say, "Hey, what's going on?". Like, that is something that you don't get in most universities. It is a family and we look out for each other. We are loyal to each other.
I think we have an amazing education at Nevada State. And it starts with the people. We go out of our way to hire the best teachers and the professors who are most passionate about teaching our students, and you see that in the results and what students say about the campus. They rave about the quality of teaching they get in the small classrooms, but also the attention they get from professors.
We have a very robust undergraduate research program and faculty love to bring students along that way, and that has really put our students in really good stead for graduate programs after.
