Nevada State is an exciting place. We focus on excellent teaching and great student support, small classrooms, a welcoming environment. But what they may not know is that this is a really modern college. We were able to build it from the ground up for the students we're trying to support. And so everything we do from the professor's we hire, to the programs we design to the buildings we construct is all designed to achieve our mission of helping students from all backgrounds achieve at their highest possible level.
We have a lot of new buildings. There's a lot of new rooms, a lot of new classrooms; new technology. I think we have like a really cool library, because it's a digital library. So there's so much more space to study in here. With the awesome atmosphere and environment with all the plants, it's really neat to see. But also going into the classroom that feels new is exciting. It makes you want to learn and makes you want to sit there and be like, alright, I'm ready to do this, which is cool.
So in a lot of ways, our journey is just beginning. We have new, fancy residence halls on campus. We're welcoming our Christiansen Education building, and we have new programs on board, we have data science, which is specifically designed to meet some of the most exciting workforce needs in this entire region. And Human Health Sciences is another one and if you add it all together, I really believe that there couldn't be a more exciting time to come to Nevada State.
