I think what separates Nevada State, maybe more than anything else, is how our entire orientation is around student success. We want to ensure that students from all backgrounds, have an amazing learning experience are properly supported, and earn their degrees in a way that not only changes their lives for the better, but in many cases, it impacts their entire family tree.
So students that are interested in career guidance can definitely check out the Career Services Center. I think it's very important and valuable for students starting at freshman year to come to our office, because a lot of students are coming to college to help better themselves and get better job opportunities post-graduation.
Yeah, so the Marydean Martin library is really the heart of campus. It's a place where students can come and find a place to study, find a place to collaborate with their peers on campus, and it's also a place with tremendous resources. We have a library that provides all of its materials online, digitally, and so students can continue to get access to everything that they need even when they're off campus.
If you walk into the Disability Resource Center, it's a very welcoming environment and you know, how can we help you we want to make sure that we your needs as a student. You can walk into any of your instructors offices and say, you know, I'm having trouble with this assignment and they will stop what they're doing. So to help you and make sure that you're able to understand the project or the assignment and you know, help you overcome the hurdles that you have with the assignment. So it's a very special one on one kind of family-like environment.
